The ACHSE Health Management Program (HMP)
To build a successful and rewarding management career in today's demanding health system you need to make the right choices in training and education. The HMP provides the entry level health management program, to fast track your career. The Program is provided for the NSW and ACT Health systems with placements in a range of health settings. The HMP also has a number of identified positions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander trainees.

ACT Branch ACHSE
Located in the National Capital the ACT Branch is fortunate to have a diverse membership base. Local members are drawn from a wide array of backgrounds and organisations including the Commonwealth, ACT and NSW Governments, public and private hospitals, aged care sector, community health sector, defence health, non-government organisations, private health organisations as well as divisions of general practice.
It is particularly noted for its friendliness and intimate atmosphere.
We provide:
- monthly Breakfast Professional Development Sessions, with high level international, national and local guest speakers, which are well attended by both members and non-members from Canberra and the surrounding region;
- a successful Fellowship Development Program;
- an active Fellows Network Program;
- great networking; and
- a regular newsletter "Patches".
We support all new members to the ACT Branch through our "Buddy Program".
