Background:
The Australian College of Health Service Executives (ACHSE) is the leadership and learning network for health professionals in management. It has been guiding Health Service professionals for over 60 years and is the largest multidisciplinary professional body representing health and aged care managers in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Thailand.
Its national, annual Congress typically brings together over 400 emerging, middle and senior management health leaders drawn from its diverse membership base to consider health services research and how to improve health services management.
ACHSE has partnered with the Centre for Health Assets Australasia (CHAA), FBE, UNSW to host this year's event. This joint approach will provide a broader program with significant attraction for national and international presenters.
CHAA was established in 2005 to undertake research and development work in the area of health asset and facility management. The partnership arrangement with ACHSE and CHAA will expand its typical health management focus by exploring current and emerging problems in the sustainability, design, financing and research of health facilities.
