Marjorie Anderson
Marjorie is the Manager, Executive Services at the NSW Department of Juvenile Justice.
Terry Clout
Terry Clout has worked in the public health industry for more than 20 years and has held senior positions within the Department of Health, South West Sydney AHS, Illawarra AHS and the Mid North Coast AHS. His most recent appointment as Chief Executive of the Hunter New England AHS from January 2005 followed his exceptional management of the Hunter, New England and Lower Mid North Coast Health Service during the statewide restructure which occurred in 2004.
Garry Druitt
Garry Druitt is the Chief Information Officer, South West Alliance of Rural Health (Victoria). He is responsible to the Victorian South West Alliance of Rural Health (Vic) Steering Committee for all aspects of regional information and communication technology (ICT) planning, policy development, management and project implementation across the SWARH membership. SWARH provides services on a collaborative basis to 118 sites in Victoria in a "virtual" organisation structure.
Peter Forster
Peter Forster is Director of The Consultancy Bureau in Brisbane. He has 35 years experience as a Manager and Management Consultant in both the public and private sector, including Director, Review and Consultancy, Queensland Premier's Department. He was the Director of the 2005 Inquiry into the Queensland Health System, following the Bundaberg Inquiry.
Prof Cliff Hughes AO
Professor Clifford Hughes AO is the CEO of the Clinical Excellence Commission in NSW. For 25 years, until January 2005, he had been a senior partner in an extremely busy cardiothoracic surgical practice at Sydney's Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. For the last 10 years he had been head of that unit. Prof Hughes has been a member of the Australian Council on Safety and Quality in Health Care since its inception 6 years ago and has chaired taskforces on safe hours, fatigue and device tracking.
Penny Humphris CBE
Following a long career in the UK NHS, initially in management posts and later as a Director and Chief Executive of Area Health Authorities, Penny Humphris became Director of the NHS Leadership Centre in 2002. She developed a range of leadership development programs for staff at all levels. From November 2004 Penny was Project Director for the creation of the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, established in July 2005. Penny now works as an executive coach and independent consultant. She was awarded the CBE in the 2006 New Year's Honours.
Dr Christine Jorm
Dr Christine Jorm is an anaesthetist and Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Clinical Governance Research at UNSW.
Prof Judy Lumby PhD
Prof Judy Lumby is Executive Director of The College of Nursing and Emeritus Professor of Nursing at the University of Technology Sydney. Judy holds positions on many state and federal health committees, has held leadership positions at three Australian universities and also has 12 years clinical experience, mainly in critical care areas. Her book Clinical Challenges identifies many of the contemporary clinical issues confronting nurses and her more recent book Who Cares explores the changing health system over the last 40 years and its impact on patient care.
Dr Richard Matthews
Dr Richard Matthews carries the dual roles of Deputy Director-General, Strategic Development, NSW Health and Chief Executive Officer of Justice Health. He commenced his career in general practice and developed a special interest in drug and alcohol. Dr Matthews was appointed CEO of Justice Health Service in 1999 following a 5 year association with the organisation. In his role as Deputy Director-General, Strategic Development, Dr Matthews has strategy planning responsibility for among other things, statewide services development, primary health and community partnerships, intergovernmental and funding strategies and the futures planning unit.
Adj Prof Michael Moodie
Adj Prof Michael Moodie, Execuitive Director, Technology, WA Department of Health, former CEO, King Edward Hospital Perth, when the Hospital went through a Royal Commission into its clinical governance issues and former CEO, South West AHS, Western Australia. Michael is also Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Communications, Health and Science, Edith Cowan University, WA.
Dr Sue Page
Dr Sue Page is Chair of the North Coast Area Health Service Advisory Council and Immediate Past President of the Rural Doctors Association.
Jill Pretty
Jill Pretty is the Policy and Consultancy Manager for the Aged & Community Services Association, NSW & ACT. She is a Registered Nurse and holds a degree in Management and a Masters in Nursing, majoring in Aged and Palliative Care. In her current role, Jill oversees policy and service provision impacting on self care, residential and community services. Jill is a fellow of the College of Nursing (NSW) and the immediate past President of the NSW Division of the Australian Association of Gerontology.
