ACHSE National Rural Special Interest Group
In 1999 the College developed a national rural health special interest group made up of representative from each State.
The National Rural Health Special Interest group is the peak committee within ACHSE to consider issues concerning members living and working in rural, regional and remote areas.
Rural, regional and remote is defined as those geographical areas in Australia that exclude the urban areas of Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Hobart Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra.
